Refund & Transfer Policy

This policy explains how fees, installments, refunds, batch transfers and deferrals work at INFOTICS IT Academy. It applies to individual learners; corporate engagements follow the terms of the accepted quotation. By enrolling or buying any product you accept this policy. Last updated: .

1. Fees and seat reservation

When you enroll, your seat is reserved and an invoice is emailed to you. Your enrollment is activated once at least 50% of the net fee is paid and confirmed. The remaining balance is payable in installments as shown on your invoice. All refunds, where allowed, are calculated on the net fee actually received and are always paid after deducting any bank, card or wallet transaction charges we cannot recover.

2. Cancelling before the batch starts

If you cancel in writing before your batch begins, we refund the fees you have paid, less the non-recoverable transaction charges. Please cancel at least three working days before the first class so your seat can be offered to someone else. No refund request is accepted by phone; it must be in writing to info@infotics.edu.pk.

3. Cancelling after the batch has started

  • Once the first live session has taken place, fees are not refundable. Instead, you may request one batch transfer or a deferral (see below).
  • Fees for a session you did not attend are not refundable on that basis alone; recordings remain available for revision.
  • A missed payment or non-attendance does not cancel your enrollment or create a refund; outstanding installments remain due.

4. Labs, lab passes, self-paced courses and digital content

These give instant access and are treated strictly:

  • A lab pass, sandbox, self-paced course or any digital content is non-refundable once any lab, video or download has been started or accessed.
  • If you have not accessed any part of it, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, less non-recoverable transaction charges.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge; a renewal already taken is not refundable, but access continues to the end of that period.

5. Exam vouchers and exam fees

Certification exam vouchers and exam fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued or assigned to you, and they expire on the date stated. Third-party exam fees are additionally governed by the issuer's own policy. An unused voucher is not exchanged for cash.

6. Batch transfers and deferrals

  • Transfer to another batch of the same course: one free transfer per enrollment if requested at least two working days before the class you will miss. The new batch must have a free seat; later or repeat transfers may carry a fee.
  • Transfer to a different course: possible only within the first week of the original course. You pay any difference in fee; if the new course costs less, the balance is held as credit, not refunded.
  • Deferral: you may move your enrollment to a later batch of the same course once, within three months of the original start date. Attendance already recorded stays on your record.

7. Discounted, scholarship and referral seats

Seats taken on a discount, scholarship, referral credit or any promotional price are non-refundable. If eligible, they may be transferred once under the transfer rules above, but no cash refund or credit is given.

8. If we cancel or reschedule

If INFOTICS cancels a batch, or moves it to a date or format you cannot reasonably attend, you may choose a full refund of fees paid, a transfer to another batch, or a credit toward another course. This is the only case in which fees paid are fully refundable after a start date.

9. What is never refundable

  • Transaction, bank, card and wallet charges.
  • Fees for a course, lab or exam where a certificate or badge has already been issued to you.
  • Fees where your access was ended because of misconduct, such as exam cheating, account sharing or sharing course content, as set out in our Terms of Use.
  • Any lab pass, sandbox, self-paced course, exam voucher or digital content that has been accessed or used.

10. How to request and when you will be paid

Email info@infotics.edu.pk with your name, enrollment or order code and the reason, within the window stated above. We review requests within three working days. Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer or to the mobile wallet you used, normally within 7 to 10 working days of approval, and you will receive a confirmation and an updated receipt. A chargeback raised without first contacting us may delay your request.
