The situation
The static routes from lab 05 do not scale. Enable OSPF area 0 on R1 and R2 and watch them become neighbours.
Build this in Packet Tracer
- Drag 2 routers → R1, R2, and 2 PCs → PC1, PC2.
- Connect R1 Gi0/0 → R2 Gi0/0 (the WAN link), PC1 → R1 Gi0/1, PC2 → R2 Gi0/1.
What you will do
- Enable OSPF on R1
- Enable OSPF on R2
- Confirm a learned route
- End-to-end over OSPF
- Why OSPF over staticquestion
How it works
The lab opens in your browser: a real terminal or desktop, nothing to install. Work through the tasks, press Check after each one and the portal verifies your work. Stuck? Ask for a hint. Finish every task and you get a certificate page with its own verification link for LinkedIn or your CV.
