What is VMware Data Center & vSphere Foundation — Career Accelerator?

VMware Data Center & vSphere Foundation — Career Accelerator is a professional-level, 3-month instructor-led course that prepares you for the VCP-DCV + VCP-VVF exam at INFOTICS Academy. Delivery: Live online / on campus. The fee is shared individually after you apply. Register your interest and we will tell you when the next intake opens.

Virtualization and the private cloud are one career seen from two angles. This accelerator combines the VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V8] path (VCP-DCV) with the vSphere Foundation path (VCP-VVF), so you learn to build and operate VMware the way enterprises run it — in one connected journey, one schedule and one enrollment.

You begin with the ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, HA, DRS, storage, networking and virtual-machine lifecycle of a vSphere 8 data center, then move up to the vSphere Foundation operating model: lifecycle management, monitoring, and the cloud-management and automation layers that turn a cluster into a private cloud. Each certification is also offered on its own.

Frequently asked questions about VMware Data Center & vSphere Foundation — Career Accelerator

Are VCP-DCV and VCP-VVF separate certifications?
Yes. They are two separate VMware VCP credentials with their own exams. This accelerator prepares you for both and teaches them as one path.
Do I need VMware experience to start?
No. The Data Center Virtualization half starts from installing ESXi and builds up, so beginners are welcome; the Foundation half then extends those skills to the private-cloud operating model.
How is the fee decided?
VMware programs are quoted per learner or per company. Apply or ask an advisor and we share a personalized fee for the full accelerator, which is less than taking the two courses separately.
